00:00:56,100 The the. Yeah that’s right. Yeah. All right. Good evening. I’m going to call the Monday, June 15th Select Board to order. And we got four members here. And Tom here tonight. Um. We’ve got some board and committee openings, but affordable housing trust. We have one opening. 00:01:36,970 We’re filling these up. I’ll go ahead and shorter list every week. Opening conservation commission. We have two openings. Community preservation committee. We have two openings. One opening for member of historic District Commission and one opening for an at large member. The Hamilton Environmental Impact Committee has one opening. 00:01:57,770 The Historic District Commission has two openings for three year terms. Two openings for two year terms, where one must be a resident of the historic district and one must be a resident realtor. We have one at large opening for the Human Rights Commission. 00:02:16,770 One opening for an associate member of the Hamilton Planning Board, and one opening for an associate member of the Zoning Board of Appeals. Tonight we will be. Can I just real quick, just on the Conservation Commission, I’ve had the conservation agent and chair asked me to please. Please, please. People in the community that you want to volunteer for the Conservation Commission to help. 00:02:36,630 They’re kind of at a low point. Number of members. Um, they’ve got enough to barely run meetings. But at any time, somebody can take it. That puts the whole operation in jeopardy. So, um, people trying to figure out a way to be active in the community, they could really use some members of the Conservation Commission. You know, often they meet with what’s case. 00:02:53,000 Generally once a month, unless something comes up and forces them to be more. It’s not a heavy lift. Yeah, I was, um, at the, um, meeting, and there was a question as to whether there was a needed another member. So of course, I piped up and said, I have something for you. 00:03:12,230 So encouraged, he and his wife to apply, um, for other, um, boards. Okay. Sorry. Thanks for the public service announcements. Members are good too, because it’s not a, you know, a full board member, but you get to be part of the process. And if they, um, if they need, you can step up for an open position. 00:03:34,170 Um, and then today will be, uh, later on in the meeting, we will be, um, reappointing, um, annual board committees. All right. Uh, public comment. Um, we’ll take a 30 minute, up to 30 minutes for public comment. Hey, speaker. 00:03:56,230 Can, uh, either raise their hand online or go up to the podium, and we’ll introduce you to give your name, address? And you have three minutes to speak. So we’ll start first in the room and we’ll go to the. You know what? He’s on. Nobody online is raising their hands. Okay. All right. Anybody have anything for the select Board committee? Uh, just congratulate our sports teams. 00:04:23,500 We had a lot of sports teams in the state tournaments and a busy weekend. Um, so congratulate all those teams. Tennis and girls and boys tennis and, uh, baseball, as well as softball and lacrosse. Also made it to the state tournament. So they’re all done now. But they had a great year. 00:04:38,270 So congratulations to them. And school ends this week. So I think Thursday is the last day of school. So that with all those uh, names and numbers are in reference to along, uh, Pat Park. I believe, so I’m not sure what that was out of that. But last names the numbers stapled to each of the telephone poles. 00:04:57,400 That’s a new a new way of recognizing athletes. But I’ve not been part of that. I thought it was adorable. I wonder what that was. I didn’t yeah. I just, I just I didn’t know what it was. Other towns are doing it, but it must be doing it as well too. But I’m. Not too. Yeah. 00:05:10,430 Where that tradition comes from. It’s adorable. All right, let’s write down, uh, down there. Any, uh, any updates for boards and committees? Um, no, I sent it to the HGC meeting. Uh, that was fun to meet everyone there. First time. 00:05:34,300 And, uh, yeah, they’re working on, um, lots of discussion on the park and, um, and then grants that have been submitted and then, uh, I see environmental impact Committee. Uh, met with them as well. And lots of discussion there. Uh, met with, uh, one of the one, um, board members was there as well, and uh, reported on what they were up to. 00:05:53,670 And, um, there was some discussion of, uh, of trash and compost cost, which has gotten me into trying to look, uh, information and summarize that for myself and understand it. And that’s it. No major updates. I, I missed the pin on one, but they are starting to, uh, I went three weeks ago, so wants to now. 00:06:17,570 And my last meeting, uh, they both had two new members, so they have, uh, people in the community full now, which is great. And they’re doing some kind of high level, um, strategy goal setting themselves. 00:06:39,070 Um, uh, so, uh, from that yet, but I think likely that they may have someone, um, attends our goal setting in the next few weeks. I believe for 29th. Yeah. May have someone just to be available to say, okay, so, uh, we’ll have. Um, so talking as well about sort of five year roadmap and refreshing that uh, and just. Get over. 00:07:07,930 You know, I know they have it up on the website for this is kind of like a one page or a five year, like kind of financial snapshot. And look ahead. 00:07:26,470 So they’ll be refreshing that and taking all the inputs from Capital Committee, um, various department reports from last year all gearing up already for the fall and um, and refreshing, you know, so they’re staying out of things really great that they’ve got a full committee again. So yeah. Do we know the two new members. Scott and I don’t remember the fifth person.. That feels right. But I can’t remember. What they get pointed by. Uh. They both those were moderate appointments. 00:07:53,600 All right. Thank you. Um. Three things. Um, the Hamilton Historic Commission got got in touch with them, and they’re very excited to have somebody, um, from the, uh, select board as a liaison. And the first meeting in several months will be on the 24th. So I’m looking forward to that. They’re looking for a new home. 00:08:22,030 If the homestead is sold to. I told them I would put a good word for them that. You mean the Hamilton Historic. Must be quite. A lot like, um. You mean the historical society? I’m sorry. The commission. Okay. That’s right. I’m sorry. The society? Yes. So they’re they’re looking for a new home. 00:08:49,870 And I told them I would put in a good word with the town manager. Yeah. Kind of tried to reach out to find out when they wanted to meet and talk about where they want to go. So. Yeah. So that’s that’s on the 24th. 00:09:02,030 Uh, and it’s going to be at somebody’s house so I can fill you in on that. Um, so that was one of their issues. And of course, their long chair died last last winter. So there they could share the share the duties. So they’re excited about starting up again. 00:09:27,700 Um, the CoA had a wonderful strawberry shortcake party, which was amazingly well attended by yours truly as well. Thank you to the CoA for putting that on. And then, um, for the CBA. Um, we were informed that, uh, there are two possible routes to 957 Bay road. Um, that there’s a lawsuit that’s been filed and or there’s also a for sale sign on the building. 00:09:53,930 So we’re not really sure where that’s going to go. But the good news about the CBA meeting is that the CBA approved, um, special permit for Tim, who was the outreach coordinator at the Council on Aging. If anybody remembers his house burned down last year in the in the Grove. 00:10:16,170 And so he’s been able to organize enough funding. Um, to rebuild. So that’s a very exciting thing. So that’s it for me. Good. Good luck. Um, Joe, can you just give a quick update on that second? So a lot of. Yeah. If I could just give us a. Quick and we’re sharing some communication with that starting today or tomorrow. 00:10:40,330 Um, so the the contract with Casella has to be renewed. Uh, we’re working on finalizing the contract before the in June. The new contract will go into effect in July. First. Casella was the one that wanted to switch to the new large recycling code. Um, it goes. 00:10:56,170 There’s a lot of reasons for it, the principal ones being that they’re trying to go to one man trucks and they’re trying to use automated, uh, pickup of the bins because it reduces the potential for injury and things like that to their employees. 00:11:14,730 Their biggest complaints or biggest injury problems happen with something too heavy or getting out of the truck or being out of the truck in icy conditions and slipping and falling. So that reduces the ability to chance for those types of injuries. Um, so they’re making the investment in the trucks, and they want to use the trucks. 00:11:31,970 That said, the standard program has the 96 gallons, but we’ve already had about 80 people ask if they could get a smaller one because there they don’t use that much and it’s too heavy for them. And so we’re working with Casella to get those folks new, smaller bins. I think they’ll be 60 gallons, 96 gallon. 00:11:49,030 And there are probably a similar amount of people who suggest that for various reasons, they have a large family, whatever. They do a lot more recycling. They might need more than 96. So we’re working with Casella on what price would be for some people to buy a second, uh, recycling bin. Um, again, there’s a there’s a standard, you know, uniform. 00:12:08,430 Program for us for trash and recycling and composting. And then there is the opportunity, if needed, to try to make. A smaller bin. They should not their big band. They can turn it in. So the program doesn’t take effect until after July 1st. So, uh, until the week of July 1st. So you’ve got time. 00:12:25,370 There’s going to be information out on social media and on the town website that has a form that you can fill out and send in to Tim. Tim, we’ll send it to Casella. Casella will arrange to trade up your Big Ben for a smaller bin. And if you need a second bin, they’ll have the opportunity. 00:12:39,970 You’ll have the opportunity to ask for that. And you’ll be told the prices I don’t. They haven’t given us the price as of today. But you have an opportunity to buy a second recycling. 00:12:54,900 Also, people who have been using old trash bins with recycling sticker, the sticker that says recycling or whatever you’ve been using, they’re not they’re not recyclable. Interestingly enough. So we have two. We have two large dumpsters placed at the back of the gravel lot near the pet homestead. And we are asking people to drop recycle bins only after July 1st. 00:13:13,200 I think we’re going to have them there till late July 15th or something like that. That’s information is also going to be in the in the information release. People can drop off their old recycling bins so they don’t have to worry about how to get rid of them. And that’ll be free of charge. But please only leave recycling bins. 00:13:26,230 We have cameras at Peyton Homestead and people who are dumping illegally in the, the, uh, dumpsters may, may end up hearing from us. So the four recycle bins, there’s only two dumpsters. There’s a lot of people in town that are going to try to get rid of them. I don’t have room in the dumpsters for anything else. So, yeah. 00:13:41,130 So you’re saying like, specifically, they’ll take back the blue. I kind of. Yeah. Recycle or have you bought. Or if you bought a bigger one. Bigger one. You know you don’t want it anymore. You can leave that as well only. Right? Yeah. Bins only. 00:13:59,030 And just another thing I know I’ve seen on social media, a couple people had noted that, oh, you know, this this is going to take a lot more time because people are going to have to break down their boxes. Now, to be clear, you are always supposed to break down your box. 00:14:11,830 That was always the case because we had people out of truck picking things up, because seller’s workers were kind of lenient on that, and they didn’t always force people to do that. But boxes are supposed to be broken down. So that’s not a new thing. That just will make it easier for you to use. The bins. To get rid of the boxes. Yeah, at the homestead or. 00:14:29,730 At the homestead. And then should we not use those this week? Well. Because I. Would say they’re really big and the poor guys are gonna have to try to lift them into the, into. The. It’s also going to them. Don’t use them. You don’t have to. July. Right. Okay. All right. Yeah. Everybody’s excited. 00:14:47,470 About we want to use them this week. And then they’re going to sit full for a week. But um because we can’t lift them up without the automated arm. So. All right, all right. Um, thanks, Joe, for just going through that. And then, um, I think. All right. Okay. 00:15:05,600 Um, we’ll do a quick consent agenda. So do I have a motion to approve the minutes of May 4th, 2026 Select board meeting. Approve minutes of May 18th, 2020. Sorry. 2026 board meeting. Approve reappointment of Philip Stevens as Constable for Town of Hamilton. So move. I have a second. Second. Sorry, sorry. 00:15:27,030 Any further discussion. Okay. I don’t remember, we do that once a year. Reappoint, uh. The constable’s three year appointment. Um, so he was. He was appointed three years ago. He passed the background check and everything. He’s our former fire chief. 00:15:47,270 He’s been doing a good job for the last three years. Right. He’s the only one that was job. We’ll keep. Yeah. No. Uh, all those in favor say. Aye. Um, we’re going to do one thing out of order, Joe. So. Yeah, let’s. Do that. What’s the, um. Well, you can take it up under new business, because that was a. 00:16:06,930 So we have a a new member of what, uh. The Hamilton Development. Court last week. Okay. HTC, introduce yourself. Yeah. Yeah. Because people just get this recorded and people are watching it. So say that name, address, position and say hi. Um, my name is Amy Wallach. 00:16:28,430 I live at 90 Union Street, and I am the newest member of the HTC, and I have agreed to take on the role as treasurer. So excited about the opportunity and getting involved and happy to, you know, answer any questions you guys might have or I’m not sure what else you’d like to hear. Go ahead. Have you interacted with HTC before? Uh, no. Okay. 00:16:52,270 Not I mean, I’ve, I follow along. It’s funny because I’ve been sitting here and I know everything that you’re talking about because I follow along pretty closely with what’s going on in town. 00:17:06,770 Um, and I’ve kind of just been watching everything that’s been going on, and it’s something that had piqued my interest. So when the opportunity presented itself and I had a little bit more free time from some previous volunteer responsibilities that I had, um, it seemed like a good time to, to jump in and serve.. Great. That’s great. 00:17:24,330 Do you have any development background? So I’m a realtor full time. I am the I was the 2024 president of the Association of Realtors. Um, and in fact, in 2013, I was president of the North Shore Realtors as well. And I’m born and raised here in Hamilton and still live here. 00:17:42,530 So I’m pretty, you know, I’ve got some pretty solid knowledge base, if you will, of of development. Um, yes. Great, great. We’ll be quite an asset. I’m going to do my best. Well, thank you for volunteering. You’re welcome. Thank you. That’s pretty easy. Thank you. Yeah. I back to our scheduled program. Uh, Sean. Sean. He’s on zoom. Sean. Sean. Go ahead. Hey, everyone. 00:18:17,170 How’s it going? Good. Um, yeah. So, just a quick update from the rec side of things. Um, you know, obviously we’re heading into our busy season. Uh, the pool, uh, opening weekend was this past weekend. Um, so the weather cooperated with us. We were incredibly busy. Uh, incredibly busy. 00:18:38,730 Um, just by a quick count that I did today prior to the meeting. Um, we either had just about. Or a little over 600 guests visit the pool over the weekend. Uh, which is really a two day record for us. 00:18:57,770 Um, you know, we, I think our staff conducted close to, um, 150 to 170 deep end swim tests over the course of the two days. Um, so really grateful to the staff. You know, we had some staff members pick up extra shifts. Uh, come in early, stay a little bit later. Uh, to really make sure that, um, you know, that operations ran smooth. 00:19:16,030 So, um, you know, like I said, really grateful for them and all their hard work. Uh, and then, you know, to back that up today, we had over 100 guests. You know, just in the after school hours. Um, you know, from 230 to 7. So. 00:19:29,530 Um, so it’s busy down there, but it’s been really great. Uh, and, you know, things, uh, things have started off. Um, and started off well. Um, this upcoming week, uh, on Monday is our first day of camp. So we’ve been doing a lot of preparation work these past few weeks. 00:19:47,970 Uh, with staff, training, staff orientation, uh, and getting ready for the start of camp on Monday. So we’re excited about that. Uh, hopefully the weather cooperates with us, and we have a nice, uh, a nice day on Monday to to kick things off. Uh, just a couple of, uh, items. 00:20:02,970 Um, we had our past event, um, about, I say 3 to 4 weeks ago. Uh, what was our annual bike to school event? Uh, it was really great weather. So it’s the theme for for that event. Uh, probably had our most riders, uh, that we’ve ever had. Um, you know, my count. 00:20:18,700 Um, you know, we probably had close to 150. If not, you know, a little bit more. Um, riding bikes from Pingree Park, uh, to the three elementary schools. So thank you. 00:20:35,430 Thank you to all the volunteer, uh, parents who agreed to ride with the children, uh, as well as the Hamilton and Wenham fire and police departments. Uh, that help out and certainly the three elementary school principals, uh, who help coordinate that as well. So we’re really great event. Um, and, you know, we were excited that we had, uh, good weather for that. Um, a couple ongoing projects. 00:20:52,800 I don’t know if anyone’s taken a ride by Payton Park, but, uh, the tank project has started. Uh, so it’s completely red right now. Since they, they have primed it and getting ready for paint. Um, so they started last Thursday. Uh, and then also came in on Saturday. So I was able to talk to them Thursday and Saturday. 00:21:09,630 Uh, and just a really great group of people, of folks that are doing the project. And it’s really amazing. I don’t know if anyone’s had a chance to go down there and check it out, but I would encourage everybody. 00:21:25,230 Like I said, they’ll be back on site on Thursday and then potentially, uh, early on Saturday, uh, to go down and talk to them. Uh, learn about the tank. Um, you know, we’ve had a number of community members go down and talk to them. Like I said, they’re a really great group of guys. 00:21:40,270 And, you know, be willing to to speak to anybody about the history of the tank. Uh, and sort of the work that they’re performing over there. Um, and I guess last but not least, we’re pretty much ready to get, uh, the bid package out of the advertisement for bid package out, uh, for the gazebo project. 00:21:58,330 I know Tim is just putting the final, final touches on that. Um, and, you know, we hope to have that out. If not this week. Uh, go by Wednesday. So if not by this Wednesday, then. Absolutely. Uh, next Wednesday. 00:22:15,530 Uh, and then I know coming up, you guys on your agenda have, um, the community house, community block party, uh, event. So that will be the Saturday. Um, we, the DPW will be putting the, uh, barriers out on Wednesday. Um, so I just want to thank, obviously, the DPW for doing that and the fire department for helping out with the fireworks. And, again, the police. 00:22:32,900 Um, and then a special thanks to the Hamilton One Little League, um, who, you know, put down and take or take down and then put, put up the, the home run fence down at the park. So easier said than done to do that. 00:22:45,700 So they’ve been doing that for us or helping out us out the past 3 or 4 summers with that task. Um, so we’re excited. Um, you know, about about that event coming up this weekend. Excellent. You always have such fun things. The director of recreation. Uh, I. Can’t if he can’t have one of that department. I don’t know where we can have fun. Yeah, man. 00:23:08,170 Yeah. John’s always done a great job of being creative, planning, prepping, proactive stuff. But. Thank you. But the real true is participation. He had such great participation in all these events. So just that’s the true testament of how hard you work into the communities. Get involved and they’re showing up and uh, that’s what it’s all about. 00:23:25,230 So thank you for keeping the community involved in their activities. Um, I just have one question, Sean. So the tank is being repainted. 00:23:42,800 So I’m wondering, will it be dry for kids who want to climb on it for the block party? Or will it be off limits? Yeah, that’s a good question. I think the hope is that it will be, um, that was the plan all along. So I know they’re going to start the, you know, the painting it on Thursday. Um, I think they had Saturday as sort of a placeholder in the event of rain. Obviously they’re volunteers. 00:23:59,830 You know, they they, you know, kind of have their, you know, their own personal schedules, but, um, but they know about the event on Saturday. Uh, they know, um, you know, if the kids want to climb on it. 00:24:16,970 So, um, the hope is, you know, I guess I don’t know for sure, Rosie, but, I mean, it’s been kind of the plan all along. Okay. Thank you. All right. Quick comment. Yeah. Go ahead. So, um, my kids have participated in the bike to school. Uh, every year that we’ve been here, um. Uh. My older one now. Has moved. On two bikes to school, but not a part of this event. 00:24:36,770 But, uh, my youngest one, uh, went to this event this year, and it was very, very well organized this year. It’s a great job on that. Um, how many people are working on the tank? How many volunteers do they have out there? Well, they had, uh, on last Thursday. They only they had, um, 2 or 3 this past Saturday. 00:24:57,130 They they had a good group. They had about 8 or 9, uh, folks down there on Saturday. Uh, this Saturday. So a little later on Thursday. But on Saturday, they did have a pretty large, uh, presence down there. Okay. And last question is, I assume that the gazebo work. 00:25:13,730 That’s not going to interfere with the music, or there’s an alternative site for the. Correct. So the plan is for us to, um, as part of the bid for construction, construction or renovation to begin in the fall. Oh, okay. Okay. I see. No. Thank you. That’s it. 00:25:38,670 No. Uh, just. Thanks, John. I just can’t thank you enough for all the great work. And, uh, we’re just huge recipients of all your efforts. Uh, my family is, you know, in terms of everything you organize, whether it’s, uh, sports and, um, a pool. We’re really excited where I’ve gone twice. Thank you. 00:25:58,930 I was a little nervous. The water was going to be a little cold. With all the weather that we had prior to it opening, but, uh, those those first, you know, those that last Wednesday, Thursday, Friday warm the water pretty good. So warmer than the ocean. Yeah. That’s right. All right. Thank you. Sean. All right. Thanks, everyone. 00:26:20,330 Bye. Thanks, Sean. All right. Next item on the agenda is to approve the community house use of Patton Park. The annual community block party. This Saturday, June 20th. Discuss and vote. I guess we’ll make a motion and we’ll discuss them a vote. Sure. 00:26:39,570 I move that we approve the community house, use Patten Park for their annual community Block party on Saturday, June 20th. I’ll second that second. Uh. Any further discussion? Is anybody here to talk to that? I. Think you want to talk now, Rodney. Go ahead. Uh. Gone up and, um. 00:27:01,600 Do your public service so you can tell everybody what time you show up to do. So that’s this is your opportunity to sort of get it out there. If you want. My name is Lindsay Kontos. I’m the program event director at the community house. Um, we are very excited. This is our 13th annual block party. Um, it kicks off at 4:00. 00:27:16,600 We have, um, the human not performing as well as the magician. Uh, we have a new part that we started last year, Block Party Live. Um, so if you’re still looking to audition for that, we opened it until Wednesday, so you have until then to submit an audition. Um, and that’s it. We have our face. 00:27:34,930 Painters are back. This year we have all the moon bounces. We added a few more fun ones this year. We also have photo booth. Um, and then, of course, DJ Martinez will be DJing the event. And then, of course, at the end of fireworks, I forget anything. just lots of food trucks. 00:27:53,500 And we actually have a ton of vendors this year. Um, last I checked, we had over 20, um, a mix of, you know, craft vendors, some local businesses, different people in town. Um, with the table, those, um, table spots closed today. Um, because we only have so much room on the basketball court. So it’s looking to be very good. 00:28:12,470 It looks like good weather, right? And it looks like good weather. I’m knocking on all the wood. 73 and sunny. Last I checked, not like I’m checking all the time or anything. Yeah. It’s from, 2:00 till four. Sorry I left that out. Yeah. Starts at four, so it starts at 4 p.m.. 00:28:28,700 And then, um, the vendors usually wrap up between 7 and 8, and then the fireworks usually, you know, at dusk. So 8459. Amongst ourselves. Not officially until now, but was that we’re trying to make a big effort this year to, uh, hang some flags at all. Our flagpole. 00:28:45,200 So we had to make an investment, about three to, uh, 76 flags that are. Banning flag. There. For historic Bennington. U.S. government. So it’s part of the flag policy. But, um, so we’re hoping to sort of raise it on that Saturday. 00:29:02,400 So I’m not sure if it matters to you when we do it, but, um, but I don’t know if you haven’t thought about what you might want to do that. Um. We’re going to need to do it before 4:00. Before 4:00? Yes. So whatever. Whatever time works. So. Would we wouldn’t be in your your way? No, we’re just setting up before then. 00:29:19,700 So it kicks off at four. Um, and we have our performers are starting to get set up right at that time. But, you know, just simply raising it wouldn’t be our way. Yeah. Great. Yes. Do you want to talk about that? We’ll so that we can talk about that. We’ll just make sure we get. Um, yeah. I’m I’m still working on that. 00:29:40,570 So. Uh. Unfortunately, I don’t. Have a, um. It’s been a little short notice, so I, Joe and I have not had time to talk about it in detail, so I apologize for not. Having all. This, but we still raise it up. 00:29:57,630 Um, so I think anybody has any more questions for we can vote on the community house aspect of the day. So you all start set up at two then. And then the. Yes starts at four. Yeah. I mean I’ll be there probably at 11:00, but. Yeah. Maybe earlier. Uh, but yeah, officially we start. 00:30:18,030 I think the moon bounces are arriving between 130 and 2 to start the layout. And getting that set up. Okay. You maybe people walk down, ride a bike. There’s parking. Will be where? Just across the street. And, um. Yeah, at park and park. Um, at the community. House. Park. That parking lot will be open. We were talking earlier. We will contact. 00:30:36,030 I’ll talk to Sean and the police department about adding some extra, um, handicap spots. Um, but that is traditionally open to people. Usually will park at Winthrop. They’ll, you know, they figure it out. They park every. Not the dirt road. No. Okay. 00:30:52,330 And in fact, I think that usually I think the police usually block it off. Yeah. So the fire trucks can get up and down and needed. Yeah. The questions. All right. Well, it looks like a great event. Yeah. Just to comment, the fireworks were spectacular last year. They’re they’re good every year. But it was Chad. They were they were good. They were very good last year. 00:31:11,270 Last year. So thank you for for your efforts and for the annual effort to put on the Black Party. We appreciate. Thank you. We’re thinking about it all year round. I’m sure I’m sure it’s a big celebration. So thank you, Nancy. And it’s nice to meet you in person. Yes. 00:31:28,370 Great. Thank you. All in favor, say aye. I unanimous. All right. Thank you. Do you have any. I see cities up next. That’s my two. Do you have any questions. About that? Uh, next item is the approved community house. Use a pattern park for Sundays in the Park concert series. Sunday. This Sunday? Uh, no. 00:31:45,630 Sunday, July 12th through August 30th. I think the only question I had was about the gazebo. But, Sean, just answer. That one. Yeah, I had that question to. So I have no questions, but do I have a motion to approve community house use of Peyton Park first for CIP. So moved. I have a second. Second. 00:32:06,270 Any further discussion or questions? Now it’s a pretty great. It’s the same as every year, right? Nothing. Nothing different? No. Nothing different. This year. The audience. Really grew last. Year. Oh, wow. It’s great. Yeah. We’re trying to get bands that really do draw big audience. We had Lisa Love last year. 00:32:23,900 She’ll be back week two this year. She was our closer last year. So we’re hoping to kind of and we have been around Mo and I think it’s our first week. And those are two big, big draws. So we’re hoping to draw a lot of people out to remind them to come every week. 00:32:36,100 So and it’s a really diverse crowd. It’s really nice. A lot of people, younger people, kiddies. So yeah. Thank you for that as well. Of course. Wonderful program. Thank you. All in. Favor say aye. Aye aye. Are you down. Next item on the agenda is approved. 00:32:56,170 GWV, uh, of the North Shore use of Patton Park for the 250th United States anniversary celebration on July 4th, 2026. Discuss and vote. So, Joe, I didn’t much research on. This one. Uh, is is. Thanks, guys. Is this Miss Lemon that just walked in? This is the applicant here. Uh. Very good timing. Yeah. Hi, I’m Joe. Nice to. 00:33:19,270 Meet you. How are you? Good to see. Go. And how are. You, Bill? This is our selectboard. He’s our chair. Oh, also. Yeah. Hi. Mary Rose Kennedy. Good to meet you. Welcome. Yeah. Hi, I’m Ben. Yeah. Yes. That’s right. Yeah. Lee McCoy. Good. And then Tom is our fifth. But he’s not here tonight. 00:33:45,670 And where’s the podium? Right there. You can see. The podium. You’re the. Oh. What’s your name? I’m Dan Kelly. Nice. Good to meet you, Dana. I just I’m looking for Sean. Uh, you just mentioned Sean was given a department head update at the beginning of the meeting, but he left, so, um. This is. A. Recreation, so. Oh, it’s still there. Sorry. 00:34:08,530 So I. I’m sorry, but I. I did not. Realize I’m still here. Guys. I’m sorry. I’m still here. Here you are. Oh. I’m doing, uh. I’m not going to promise. I’m going to remember everybody’s. Name. That’s all right. Other than Joe, I remember him. 00:34:31,570 Um, but listen, um, I would like to the the veterans of Massachusetts are of the North Shore, specifically, we would like to have an event here at the park. And. Uh. The we’ve been planning this since March. I’ve had meetings with almost all of the, um, all of the organizations and all the posts. Okay. 00:34:58,170 And, um, what they’re going to what we would we want to do is create a Betsy Ross flag, which later in the 18, 18, 26, I think, or maybe it was later that it turned into Old Glory. So that’s where we get the name Old Glory. And that that’s an official thing. 00:35:22,770 Betsy Ross was a woman that was able to sew things, and they believed she’s the one that made the flag. But there’s really no proof that she did indeed make that flag. Um, so what it consists of of Big nine by, um, five and a half or seven by five and a half. Um, wooden box with springs and 32 holes. 00:35:50,500 And we will would take artificial flowers and, um, create the flag, including the 13 stars. That would be the, the upper left hand corner. So that’s going to take about I don’t really know how long it’s going to take to do that. I’m giving us a week to do that. 00:36:12,970 And what I would do is get, um, a flatbed from Home Depot and transported to to the Patent Park area. Um, I have tarp tarps that we can put down on the ground to protect the grass. And. Uh. We, we bring the the, um, the box. 00:36:41,230 And then I’d introduced to the students, um, the plan to put the stripes, the artificial flower, red flowers, and then the artificial white flowers and, um, by the time this is going to be a beautiful creation of the original, um, old glory flag, um, we’re also going to have other events that will center around the age of, of the children. 00:37:03,700 Uh, we have, um, gigantic, um, a lot of people just donated some of this stuff to us, you know, like that. We’re there. We have a lot of excitement with the veterans. They’re looking forward to this. And, um, we’ve, um, we are including the children and activity for the kids. We have two small wading pools that we’re going to put with our homemade, artificial, um, bubble solution. 00:37:27,700 And two gigantic, um, bubble shaped like a star so that the parent would have to help the the child. It’s up to about four years old, or even more. Actually, even adults can do it. But, um, we want to have it. It’s designed around the parent having, you know, their child watching their kids and doing things with the children. 00:37:53,300 Okay. So it’s not like the kids are going to be running around. Oh, that’s not what we want. Um, so then we also have an activity. Um, we’ve we have an activity where we have these sheets that have, um. Um. Tie dye that’s going to look like, um, fireworks. Okay. 00:38:15,800 And then the, the, this particular area is like school age, elementary school age, and the color, the, um, these placemats that are not colored yet and color them and then they’ll put it on the wall of America. It’s going to be called the Wall of America. 00:38:36,600 And then we have a I don’t know, did everybody see the plan yet? There’s four tables, four tables. The number one table is the veterans table. And it’s going to honor our vets. Um, and the victory that we had, um, on that great day when we became America, 1776. 00:39:02,700 And um, so they can take their picture home if they like, or they can put it on the wall of America, then the other, um, the veterans station, um, is every medallion up here in the North Shore, every post crest. It’s a crest that’s been enlarged and it’s going to be posted. Um, with welcome and or. Thank you veterans or something. 00:39:27,470 We we’re still working on what the Verde should be. And then, um, what else we have, and we have a games area too for school age and junior high where they can play, you know, certain games and have a lot of fun with that. 00:39:48,030 And we wanted to have, um, a little bit of food, but I know that there’s an issue right now with, uh, getting the health department involved. And I have called them and I’m hoping to hear from them tomorrow. Um, they when I did call, someone did answer and they said the right person to talk to is not on duty. They are only a part time person. 00:40:06,430 So, you know, they’ll call back tomorrow. So, um, everything in today’s world has to be, you know, sealed. It has to be in an individual package. Everything for safety and everything. And I’m willing to comply with that. We were going to have, um, 21, uh, people in the community make a dozen of cupcakes. 00:40:33,430 But that plans we’ve got to go to plan B now and plan B, I did talk with, um, Shaw’s and Stop Shop and they they have gotten gone up to corporate level. Now that whether they will allow it, allow us or give us a better price what it is. Okay. 00:40:53,700 Um, and then we want them put in in these, um, anniversary cupcake things that we have and then only a slight bit of frosting on for the kids to be able to decorate it with the with the sprinkles that are red, white and blue. So that’s an activity. 00:41:17,500 So it’s going to be activities off and on all day long. We’re going to have tea because that’s the original drink here in America with the British. And so we’re going to have tea. And that again has to be uh sealed. And in it and which I’ve already planned for that. Can I ask a couple quick questions. 00:41:37,170 So what is the the timing of your event? How long do you expect it to last, and where do you set the tables up? I put the time for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., so, um, okay. And the, uh, the tables that you want to set up, or do you want to have the table set. 00:41:51,330 Up? I, I, we actually would like to use the, um, gazebo out here. Okay. And then put the tables, um, adjacent to it so that, you know, when people come up, it’s going to be cradled around. So I, we saw that you had completed the application for you. Sean’s on. He. Can I. Have it right here? Okay. Thanks. 00:42:13,830 I wanted. To give. It to Sean. Were you able to get the insurance documents? I got it right here. Okay. I didn’t. Even look at that original. One because I didn’t introduce myself. I’m the commander for. Um. The. Um. J.W., the veterans unit in Peabody. It’s post 220. Um. Just a little bit about myself. I did. 00:42:40,070 People listening. So if you can be. Yeah, yeah. Sorry. My Brady bill here. Yeah. So it’s only fair that I tell you a little bit about myself. I was about ready to retire from my, um, career in, in the Army at 20 years. 00:43:02,970 And I was in the reserve unit, but I was active duty going to Guatemala and Germany and stuff for 30 days here and there. But they had new plans for me. Before I could retire. I had to go to Iraq. I was I was there for 18 months and, um, I was an ICU nurse. 00:43:21,400 So I went out with the forward surgical team. And then whenever they had to go home, see the active duty people, they, they get there 30 days regardless if they’re at war or not. So, um, or, you know, like in deployed situation. 00:43:42,970 So, uh, I relieved all of those nurses, but my main duty was I was the chief nurse for a forward surgical team, and we tooled around with, um, first aid, the first Armored Division out of Texas, and also the military police. And, uh, they were still trying to get us out of harboring in a lot of homes. So that was where our casualties came from. 00:44:07,170 And in any way, I had that experience, and I got home safely, and I’m here. So service not. Thank you. Board members. Yeah. So we’ve got most of the paperwork here in place. Sean, um. I wanted to make sure we we want to we want to support and make sure go smoothly. So, Sean, what questions do you have from us to make sure we have.. Thank you. 00:44:25,130 Thank you, thank you. Yeah. So I had sent hi, Donna. So I had sent. Donna. Um, you know, some questions or, uh, suggestions or recommendations, um, you know, over to her for the event. 00:44:49,700 Um, you know, I think, you know, just from the park standpoint, uh, and, you know, I think maybe, you know, maybe focusing a little on, uh, you know, a smaller event with activities and games for the kids might be more in line just with what’s going on down there. Uh, on the 4th of July. Certainly. The pool is open on the 4th of July, and that’s one of our busiest days down there. 00:45:05,430 So parking can be tight. Um, but certainly, you know, I think a small event on the 4th of July down at the park, um, you know, as long as there’s, you know, volunteers and trash pickup, uh, and all the kind of the small things that go along 00:45:20,700 with running, you know, an event down at the park are in place. Um, you know, I think, you know, we can, you know, try to work together to to make it something worthwhile. Okay. What hours is the pool open that day? Yeah. So that’s holiday hours. So 11 to 6. 00:45:39,870 And I think Sean put you in touch with chief Guy so you can hire a detail. If you find it. So, um. I went over there to meet them, and, um, they were actually out, so it’s hard to find people. And this is this. 00:45:56,970 Our chief has just finished his first year in town, and he’s on a finally well-deserved vacation. But Captain Donovan, Matt Donovan is the guy you can talk to. He can help you get the details scheduled for that day. Subject to the board’s approval. Of course. My my only question was the hours when events. Great. We wanted to see it go well and we applied 10 to 6. 00:46:12,000 It’s a long it’s a long day. So, you know, eight hour a day that.. Tell me what days, what hours you think. Are best. I mean, I think it’s just, you know, probably a six hour event that’s probably a lot. 00:46:24,530 So I think it’s probably so I don’t know what I was doing that didn’t make sense. But I would say probably. Until 4:00. Maybe the targeted more. But John, I don’t know if you have a good hours for is there anything else going on in the park that day that we need to be aware of or just the. No. Um, I mean. 00:46:36,170 Obviously it’s the 4th of July, so I mean, there’s no, you know, planned activities or, um, you know, games, practices, anything like that. So, um, you know, I think, you know, as far as any activities or any things that is going on down there, it’s really just the pool. 00:46:53,130 Um, and really, the only thing that would be open down there, you know, going on would be, would be that, um, I agree, I think, you know, maybe a smaller time frame would, would be more in line. Um, you know, just just events in general. I, you know, I tend to think the longer they go, maybe the longer they drag. 00:47:09,800 So, you know, maybe, you know, if it if it’s shortened up, um, you know, that might actually make the event, um, you know, a little better, to be honest with you. Okay. So, um, I will do that. Um. For something like that. Or 4:00. Maybe. Uh, 10 to 4. 00:47:32,570 I know my daughter Abby’s been helping me with really beautiful posters and stuff. Uh, she just graduated with her master’s degree in nutrition. Great. Um, and I know she told all of her friends about this, and they’re all expecting to come, and, uh, you know, it’s word by. 00:47:54,970 I’m by mouth at this point, but one of the I see, I’m really kind of nervous because I lost. I think I’ve lost the help of the students from because I haven’t been able to go and get involved with them. And, you know, get them to help do a lot of the tasking. 00:48:13,700 So, um, I, I don’t know what to think about that. They’re all out of school on it in three days, right? Correct. Yes. Today’s last day of school. Thursday’s last day. And I wanted to get them to sign up for the for, you know, to help out with this. And it’s going to I 28th. of the 28th of June to the fourth. 00:48:35,600 I need them to help get those flowers, those artificial flowers and make that flag. That’s the main significant thing. But I would like to see if they can fill their mom, their family and just let it go through the town. Help me get these. I mean. Can you. 00:48:54,930 I could I suggest if you’ve been talking to the veterans organizations around the area, maybe those folks could reach out to their families and see if their kids want to get involved with the school district being closed for the year? Uh, essentially on Thursday, it’s kind of difficult to put them in that position. 00:49:10,930 Most of the even the administrators won’t be there to actually be in contact with the schools, with the children. And it’s not really a school sponsored event. So but if maybe if you work with the veterans groups, they all have families, they have children and their lives that they could contact and maybe, um, you know, check with some of the newspapers around that might want to help you out with a 00:49:25,430 little story. Uh, yeah. So the Hamilton Windham news is a. Good one. They’re a great newspaper. Are you the. Hamilton one? Peter? Great job. That’s wonderful newspaper. Uh., okay. There’s some ideas to help you. Um. So you’re saying I can’t go to the school and give them a flyer and let them sign up to. 00:49:46,300 Come down? That’s not my decision. You can talk to the superintendent or Tracy about that. That’s not my. I’m not saying that at all. I just think that it’s. The timing is a little bit odd here. At the end of. The year. Oh, I. Didn’t plan on it turning out like this. But now that it. Has. 00:49:59,870 Um, okay, I mean, I, I do have some veterans that are going to help out. They were going to actually help supervise the students, make sure that they’re drinking water. And this event is being funded. Um, $3,000 of it is being funded by a grant. Okay. 00:50:22,830 And I don’t know if anybody’s ever applied for a grant, but I this was my first time I did, and I don’t think I’ll ever do that because they required over a thousand words or more to make to explain why I’m going to do this. And and I don’t know if you know, but it is kind of. a woke thing. 00:50:48,570 You have to be able to have a and and in the oh, what are they? You know, die. So that was one of the things that they and that’s most of the veterans that I know are of this category. They’re from everywhere. We have the Peabody has ten, um, organizations and they’re all immigrant. 00:51:19,030 So the way it works with a lot of these is that they want the immigrant issue. Taken into account here. So we’re going to support it. We’re going to hold on it tonight. 00:51:37,070 I would I would suggest is, um, an opportunity to tell people, if they want to get involved, to either email you or, you know, whatever information you want, you want to people listen to this. So I’ll give you 30s to tell people if they want to get involved in the contact, you could call me email and then we’re going to move on to a vote, okay? Okay. 00:51:54,630 Uh, that’s where I’m conflicted about where I could actually, uh, have people call. I guess it would have to be my own personal. You know. Personal phone. Number. So I’m going to have to do that. So I, I will make sure I get it on these papers. I wanted to show you, um, this this is just. The the grant organization. This is the IC. Foundation. 00:52:19,200 Yeah. This is kind. Yep. That’s community. Foundation. They’re great people, great group. And then this is also. Um. And then. so I will amend those to with the time off at the time for 4 p.m.. Okay. Okay. So we had a motion and. Um. And we’re going to vote once we’ve got to move on. 00:52:48,030 So do you want to, do you want to give out an email or an address or anything. Yeah okay. I will give. It to you now. And then we’re going to go to the. All right. Yeah. Let’s see my phone. Let me get that here. I usually have cards but I’ve seen them out. 00:53:02,130 Oh by the way I want to give you guys something. I brought you a present. So there’s. A woman in New York. Who. Uh. You know, the blue part of the flag, the stars. You’re not allowed. To burn recycled. 00:53:19,870 What you do is you you can bury it, but it has to be a ritual and all that. But, um, I just want to give you all these. She does. She volunteers, and she’s on her address is on there in New York and see everything, every donation she gets. Um, she’ll send you these and but like, I, I covered donations that me on this. So thank you. 00:53:44,630 And just use the money for, uh, you know, cutting and the paper and all this, uh, so. All right. So let me give you my address. I want to give you a job, you. Know, give me. Your address, your phone number that I can. We can. Yeah. Uh, 9785801307307 okay. 00:54:09,700 And then my ad, um, you know, I live I lived at four Pine Hill Road. Um, and then, um, that’s it. 01984. Okay. And my, uh, my email. Donna, do you wanna. Lehman. Man. Nurse. And you are? Yep. At gmail.com. Okay, great. Thank you. Thank you. Very much. Thank you, thank you, Miss Nancy. 00:54:39,600 All of you. If you’ve always, um, I hope to see you. Thank you. July 4th. Thanks. Donna. All right. Uh, all those in favor? Yeah, I just great. So. Yeah. So. So what we’re gonna go for is we’re gonna. We’re gonna recommend you a four hour window. 00:54:57,230 Okay? Approval for our window between 10 and 6. So you do 10 to 2, or you can do 2 to 6. You can do 12 to 4. We’re gonna prove a four hour window at Pad Park on that. Date. Okay? Okay, I’ll get that time. Right. 00:55:09,000 So I think we have to revise the motion. So I have a motion to approve. Um, John, confused by this, it says, what date is it going to be? I was. Going to be July 4th. Not this. Is on July 4th. Yeah. All right, well, deliberation. Yeah. Let’s make a motion and we’ll have deliberation. 00:55:27,330 So we want okay, let’s do that first. Right. You just want to revise the motion again. All right. Let’s start with you then go ahead. Just thinking about it. Especially with the heat you’ve had already. 00:55:42,100 So it’s been a tough one, you know, and usually kind of like noon to four is actually where you’re in the most heat of the day, you know. And that’s where people are gonna if they had a hot, busy morning, lots of kids running around chasing each other and all that, sort of like if you started at noon and 00:55:54,200 you were trying to go to, you know, 4 or 6, they’re going to be quite hot and exhausted by that. So I would recommend more of a 10 to 2. 00:56:10,730 So that way, you know, and I think even as well, if there’s concerns about setup time, maybe we, we say that there’s a, an hour at the beginning of the day from 9 to 10 or something like that for setup and a and a uh, 10 to 2 for the event. Like, yeah, my shoes that you got other people involved. Not at all here. 00:56:25,700 And I don’t want to be an obstacle where it’s like, oh shoot, I can’t be there from 10 to 2. I can only be there from 2 to 4. So I don’t want I don’t want to. That’s a good point then. So it says 10 to 6. So if we did say. 00:56:36,100 A four hour window between those two and then they can figure out amongst their group who can. Do that. Yeah we can, you can. Do it that way. Yeah. All right. Okay. I see what you mean. I just want to limit it. That and we couldn’t come because they can’t. Come into. 00:56:51,730 I would suggest though not I would suggest doing 10 to 2 though would be my advice just because of. You know, ten. The two. Yeah. Because it’s going. To be 2 to 6. That’s when everybody’s going to mop the pool. Do you know it’s a hot day like with Ben? It makes. The most sense. Popsicles. There you go. And then I had a couple questions for you. 00:57:09,170 I know, but. Well, I got the mic. Um, so we’ve got insurance. Uh, we’re we’re going to. Have to work on this with Donna. Donna, I’ll call you tomorrow. This this is great. This proof that your entity has insurance through, uh, January of 2027. Great. And and the amounts are right. 00:57:28,500 I need you to call your insurer and ask them to add a line on here that says that the town of Hamilton is an additional names insured on July 4th. Okay. Just so that that we’re on the rider so that for that day. So there’s anything happens while you’re renting the park. Your insurance pays for it. 00:57:42,830 That’s all. It’s not. And it shouldn’t they for that one day. It shouldn’t create any real cost for you. It should be very helpful. Okay. And then for Department of Public Health, um, or any food. 00:58:01,500 People who manages a is there is the health director and um he and the food inspector will be I’m sure Peter works all day on Tuesday, so I’m sure that’s why they suggested that he reach out to her tomorrow, and I’m going to actually see him tomorrow, so I’ll make sure that he contacted me. And so he’ll be reviewing everything and advising on do’s and don’ts. Yeah. 00:58:19,070 So when Sean first told me in I, I’ve been working with Beverly Health and then just occurred to me that when I told her it was the possibly going to be a part, he said, oh, what do you mean you need that department? Being there? I didn’t know this small town. I. 00:58:42,870 Oh yeah, State of Massachusetts requires every town have its own health department, unfortunately. So that’s where we’re at in. You have. Any? I don’t. know. Yeah. All right. No, I think I think we raised. Yeah. That’s good. Yeah. Let’s try to help you get it out there so people show up. So. Thank you. Yeah. 00:59:00,230 Thank you so much for that. So all. So we’re gonna. So do I have a motion to. And we have. To. Approve everybody. So she’s a kid. She’s a. Do you want us to limit you attend to or do you want your go to the 10 to 2. You’re good. You’re good with that. Okay. 00:59:16,530 Do I have a motion to approve the, uh, make it back to J.W.. View of the North Shore. Use of Patent Park for the 250th United States, on July 4th, 2026, from 10 to 2. So.. Second. Second. Any further discussion? All right. All those in favor say aye. Aye. All right, all right, all right. Thank you. Thanks.. 00:59:41,630 Even if you come with us for a second or something. I’ll be around. Yes. Thank you. Thank you. Thanks. All right. Thank you. And pass Award right. Pass the word on. I’m going to go home and text and email all the veterans that have been asking. Yes, please. Accept this. All right. That’s. Oh my goodness. Yeah. 01:00:06,130 You can go out through these doors. I know one of them would have been locked on. And how did you. How did you get in that way that wasn’t. Supposed to be. Locked. I think that’s anyway. That one was. Locked. Tonight. Okay. This side. Should both. Be unlocked. 01:00:23,270 Is there nobody over there? Well, there. Maybe if somebody is playing basketball or. Some basketball. How did she even find us, though? That’s amazing. That’s pretty good. Yeah. Here somewhere. Right. Next item on agenda is approve annual board and committee member appointments. I know you have it right there. Yeah. I’m gonna go down. To it and do anything other than. 01:00:48,800 To put it up. I’d ask that you read them out loud. Just so you have on the record that who’s been reappointed. Hold up. Yep. Here we go. And you’ve got confirmation. All these people. Want to be these. These are their name is here because they’ve confirmed that they are willing to be reappointed. So okay. 01:01:07,030 All right I’m going to read them. All okay. So do I have a motion. I’m going to. Say I say as part of the motion. Do I have a motion to approve. Sorry. Approve. Annual board of committee member reappointment as. Following affordable housing address. Jamie Newton through six 3029 Council Committee. 01:01:29,970 Jack Lawrence for your term from 630 2029. All these are through. 63129 tobacco Woods Land Management uh, Suzanne Maxwell McLaughlin Community Preservation Committee Kim Deal, Council on Aging. Rosemary Kennedy, Peter Mayo, Kelly Roller finance advisory committee Alex Randall’s Hamilton Development Corporation, Angela Hoffman, Heidi’s Hamilton Foundation, and Martha Hill Farrell Historic District mission 01:01:57,700 Elizabeth Wheaton, Human Rights Commission, Jamie Newton, for a three year term, 629. And Nancy Steadfast for only six months to 1231 2026. Recreation Award Steve was a house. He was 630 2029, and Zoning Board of Appeals is Bruce Gingrich through 630 2029. Steven DeRosa through 630 2028. And Andy Phillip through 630 2027. There’s nothing. 01:02:28,670 Nope. That’s it. CBA is the last one. Okay. Okay. A motion and a. Second motion. Have a second. Second. Any further discussion? Some of these folks have been on for probably three year terms. Uh, the last time we met, we did discuss I know these people were probably appointed at some point. 01:02:52,270 You know, we reviewed their resumes, um, their history. I think it’s great that a lot of people want to continue to volunteer. Um, are there any of these that have a significant impact on our kind of, like, financial health, you know, or disbursement of funds, um, or things of that nature that we 01:03:12,600 would want to say hello to some of these people because it’s been a few years, but maybe. So Alex Rendell’s who I think was appointed to fill a vacancy, has only been on for a couple of years. And that’s the appointment. 01:03:26,370 And the only other one, I think that really impacts the town’s finances would be Jack Lawrence on the Capital Committee. He was an original member of the committee and has been appointed. This would be his third reappointment. Um, Community Preservation Committee. They disburse funds, uh. They versus those funds. So yeah. So but but those funds are separate from the town’s funds. 01:03:46,200 But yes, they are they are. There is an impact on the CPC funds. There. So I just wanted to raise that. Maybe some of these names are all very familiar. People know these folks in their backgrounds and their service records and all that. Um. Starting near to at least. One. So that’s a good point. 01:04:06,170 But let me let me just a point, but let me ask a question. So all these people, um, where have been nominated and voted on in respective committees or not. They’re all sitting members in their committees, their their terms are ending on June 30th and. Get voted back into the committees. So they’re appointed by you. 01:04:26,800 Although all these boards and committees are appointed by the Select Board, I accept some of members are appointed by the by the moderator. So these are all select board appointments that have been filled in the past. Their their members in In good standing. 01:04:42,700 Who show up, participate in their discussions, make votes, and they are interested in staying serving in their committees. In time, we appoint one member.. You point. I believe you point two. And but Alex’s term is up this year. So. And if these people didn’t fill the term, we would have nobody. It’s not just people. That is true. That’s fine. Like. Yeah. Like if they’re competing. 01:05:05,330 Right? People? I totally agree with you. But they’re. Not going to like, well, we got two weeks and now it’s like, well, you know, otherwise these committees grind to a halt. If we say, oh, actually, we’d like to. 01:05:21,700 finish some of those folks or let people know the community that it’s like, hey, these these terms are, are coming up. And if you’re interested, you know, if, you know, maybe some of these people are like, well, I’ll do it. If nobody else is volunteering. But we’re also not telegraphing in advance, you know, that these things, are not that we need to do anything. Right? Right, right. 01:05:38,900 But maybe it’s something that we we think about for, finding the ones that are going to there’s going to be a whole nother list next. We. Yeah. Eight. From now, four months. Before we know it’ll be it’ll be next year. Because because because other people in these boards will there’s terms will be out next year. 01:05:54,870 Anybody is there any position left open after we do this. Well the ones that are in your list on the beginning of the meeting. But but some of those are appointed by the Select board. No, they’re appointed by you. It’s just that their openings on the their existing openings on the boards and committee. Yeah. 01:06:08,130 Yeah. I thought is kind of maybe it’s some one of these things I don’t know how we do it Joe, but like when we reformed the board in April each year, maybe one of those first meetings, you know, in addition to picking our liaison committees is just to look at the openings that we’re going 01:06:27,370 to have and let the town know that those are coming up. And, you know, maybe some of these people would like to be relieved, you know, if someone else is ready to step up. 01:06:40,600 And also, we might want to say, hey, if you’re if you’re about to have a three year term, you know, we’d like to meet you again. Can you come in between now and June 15th? You know, so that way we can get to know you? Um, I think it’ll help. Connectivity between the committees and the board. And it’s a hard thing to keep track of. 01:07:00,500 You know, like that many months in advance. But it I, you know, very deeply appreciate all these people and their service. It’s fantastic. Okay. So my understanding is that, say, my understanding is, in a perfect world, affordable housing trust has an open position. So you start out at their at their meeting. 01:07:26,070 That’s for that’s for. So you have a policy. The Select board passed a policy maybe 5 or 6 years ago about how to fill a vacancy on an opening a on a board or committee, right. Annually is separate because you have a certain number of seats that open up every year on June 30th. 01:07:46,370 So we’ve been doing this since before I got here, that you reappoint members who want to be reappointed because it’s difficult to find people to volunteer. So the people want to be reappointed. They’re reappointed at this time of year. And then the people who don’t, they drop off. And that creates more vacancies on those boards and committees. Right. 01:08:03,500 Um, right now, the group that you have in front of you has agreed to to stay for their new terms, with the exception of Nancy, who agreed to stay for for three for six months. But she has other commitments coming up in the beginning of the year. 01:08:19,100 So that’s going to create a vacancy we know of next January. Um. I definitely hear the idea about wanting to, you know, get people enthused about serving on boards and committees and not anything against the people that are serving now, but just try and find ways to keep it. 01:08:37,730 Um, you know, keep a list of volunteers kind of coming in and helping out. Um, I love the idea about doing a better job of advertising. What board and committee seats are open a couple months in advance instead of waiting until this time of year? Um, we can certainly do that next. Next spring. Um. 01:08:58,030 Some of these, you know, are great stepping stones for, you know, some of the elected boards. You know, I think a HTC and DDA in particular, and probably even like preservation committee, you know, they. You know, didn’t come to Alex has done a fantastic job. You know, we’re really lucky to have him. 01:09:21,570 I’m just picturing that, you know, people who want to get the toe in the water. Because if these ones are full and all of these people are like, yeah, sign me up again, versus I think some of these ones, these. 12 committees down there. Yeah, eight of them still have an open position. Yeah. Well, some of these are associate members. 01:09:35,270 But still have even had a good way to step on to these things. Right. But yeah, that’s a good point. But of these, 12 of them are already eight of them. Even with this they still call them is yeah. Yeah. 01:09:52,170 So I think it’s the ones that don’t it’s like okay, we keep appointing people to capital committee, but it’s so much to join the committee. There’s no opening. How do they get on the capital committee? I guess that’s right. Yeah. They have to apply and suggest that they wanted to. And then the board would have to decide if we want. 01:10:03,000 To keep them. One of the time we said no to somebody, want to join the committee? Uh, not ever since I’ve been here. Yeah. We’ve got very high bar. That’s not true. Actually. We had we had one, we had one, we had one. One of the things I. 01:10:15,770 I’ll take that back about 4 or 5 years ago, when the board created the position, we had an opening on the Affordable housing trust, and we had two people that were interested in Rwanda. And that’s why the board created the position, created the policy to try to make clearer how to how to fill those spots. That’s okay. 01:10:31,270 I know a good point, but, um, but but yeah, I think we need to do a better job. I like it go through us every week, but maybe we need to say that there’s other positions that are going to be up, and, um, you can compete for it. 01:10:46,230 Like getting a hold of the chair of that committee and go speak with them. And or we’re the ones appointing, come in and tell us that you’re interested to bring your resume. Right. And it’s like, okay. Be interested to. Know we can. 01:10:59,570 And with the new communications position and what we’re going to be trying to launch beginning the year, we can do a better job of expressing the people that the town is always looking for volunteers. There’s a particular area of interest. Even if a board that you’re interested in is filled. Let us know of your interest and then we’ll let you know. 01:11:13,870 When it comes for annual appointments. If you’re still interested in things like that. So that we can we can try to do things like that again. Um, yeah. All right. Thanks. That’s cool. I’m really happy to see this. Many people willing to continue to serve. I think it’s fantastic. 01:11:35,570 Remind me again why, um, why? Zoning Board of Appeals has a one year. Because years and years ago, um, it wasn’t clear how long any of their terms were. And, uh, town council recommended that we, when we reappoint this, this time, that we staggered them so that there’s only one coming up. Every year. 01:11:54,000 This is the time to stagger and then that going. So next year, Andy Phillips seat would be up again, but the other two would still have time. And so so you had some continuity. But right now, because they’ve been reappointed. Yeah, it would be scary if they all decided not to re-up. And then we would have. 01:12:09,870 Well, I mean, you remember not not too long ago we were begging Bill Bullard to stay on the CBA just so we could keep a quorum on that. So it’s great that we had three folks now and one we we already still have one, uh, associate member. 01:12:24,630 And we’re looking to fill the other associate member just to help. So. Right. Okay. So and I think, um, one of the reasons for continuity, I think I appreciate your point. 01:12:45,830 And I’ll speak to the other side that a lot of say, for instance, the CBA is very complicated board and we want people to stay on because they they develop expertise. And I’ve watched the CBA grow in their in their knowledge, um, and their, um, their, their expertise in, in their roles. And I really appreciate that they’re, that they’re all staying on. So that’s sort of the flip side of it as, as well. 01:13:07,730 Yeah. Good point. All right. We did make a motion. We did get a second for a discussion. Did we. We seconded. Yeah. Yeah. Discussion. Do you you. You need. A vote discussion. All right. All those in favor of those appointments. Hi. Hi. Hi. Okay okay. , okay. All right. Um. Next item. 01:13:33,370 Approve appointment of Joan Lanson as full member of the Council on Aging. Discuss and vote. So Joan was appointed as an associate member just a few months ago. Uh, there’s an opening for a full member. And after working with, uh, council managing for a little bit, Joan expressed an interest in filling that opening. 01:13:52,570 There’s a letter in your packet from Laura Studley. We didn’t ask Joan to come again because she was just here a few months ago. We felt like you just appointed her to be a member. We were just asking her to take on a little bit more responsibility. So. Um, I guess I’m. I’m just a little confused. 01:14:11,400 I last I spoke. Pardon my ignorance, I’m a member of the board of the Clay. I wasn’t aware that there was, um, an opening. I was made aware of a by Laura’s request. So I was just following up on that. I wonder if there was just a. I wonder if there was just a confusion between Joan Melanson. Maybe. 01:14:39,570 Maybe we thought we were appointing her as a as a full member. And in reality, she. Yeah, I was just looking at it, um, I just, I don’t, I don’t understand. Maybe we erroneously appointed her as an associate and in reality, she wanted to be a full time. So or. 01:15:02,500 So you’re in favor of this? Oh, I am, I am very, very much informed. I’m just confused. How it got there. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Very much in favor? Do I have a motion to approve? Joan Melanson, be a full time voting member of the Hamilton Council on Aging. So moved. Second. Second. So, Joe, we were 100% sure there is a position. We. 01:15:28,970 Can you tell it? Yes. Okay. All right. Any further discussion? All those in favor say aye. Aye aye. Thank you. Joan. Okay. Back. All right. Have you. Progress update with select board members Kennedy and Galluzzo on I was I missed the last meeting. 01:15:48,730 So I will turn it over to Rosemary to go through this topic as far as to tell us what you want to update today. And then Ben can comment on as well. Yeah. So we looked at, um, I looked at three of the, um, policies and. 01:16:10,900 Ben and I had a at length discussion and they’re actually a lot of issues with the policies. And I’ll just talk about the use of the Co policy. So I did not revise that. And uh, and in sort of hard, hard words and in letter form. 01:16:40,170 But the issue for just thinking about the CoA is that once our beautiful town hall, reopens, um, because the CoA is a small facility and it’s very specialized and again, want to be very sensitive to the seniors, the program is growing and growing and and it’s so exciting to see that. 01:17:03,230 My suggestion would be in this to open just sort of comments to the board, is that the CoA be reserved only for town boards and committees, should they need an intimate space for, um, for a meeting and that other meetings be relegated to the, uh, meeting meeting room over at the new town hall? That was my thought about that. 01:17:28,800 What sort of meetings are being held there that you’re concerned about? Uh, not, uh, not concerned about it, but just not the CoA is just blossoming with all kinds of programs. And there isn’t with the, uh, town hall opening, reopening. It seems like there isn’t really a need to, um, burden the CoA with, um, meetings. Um, and so that’s it? It’s not. It’s. 01:17:56,830 I’m not concerned about any meeting in particular, just leaving the C away for for the C. Well, we did, but a year ago. So we sort of talked about this because we didn’t really have a policy that’s like anybody, any organization in town could rent it out. 01:18:16,330 And then we’re like, okay, can I warm that open up? So we started to and I don’t remember exactly, Joe, but you were part of this. Yeah. Now with the Memorial Hall saying things like, we have Boy Scouts when I have an event they don’t have, but they can. Hey, can we said we’re trying to figure out, like what? Without being obstructionist. 01:18:30,930 Right? Well, how can we put some common sense, you know, order on this stuff. So not anybody can just come to town and, and it’s not just up to us. Besides just there’s a policy place just to say it’s black and white. Let’s not have a debate. Every time someone wants to rent out space. 01:18:44,100 So I don’t remember exactly that, but I know. We went. We ended up tabling it because this, this, this began life as a Council on aging, uh, facility use policy. And, um, license. And the town council drafted it to have them operate together. They’d be the policy. And then in order to access the policy, you had. To fill out. 01:19:01,370 The application and get you get and the board would vote and you get the license, or you could designate somebody to approve the license without the board approval. That’s all up to you. We were part of it was because Town Hall was closed and there was reduced places for meetings, and people were asking for different places. 01:19:18,300 This is the only other room other than the Council on Aging right now that can do meetings. Previously, in the distant past, the only boards and committees that were really usually using the CoA as a meeting space was the income. And the Council on Aging board. 01:19:38,030 There had been opportunities at different times for outside groups to utilize, um, the Council on Aging space for book fairs, book sales and things like that. Or, you know. Um. Plant sales. 01:19:58,870 And so in trying to pull it all together, the board wanted to talk about creating a facility use policy that would be applicable to any town spaces that you designated. That would be, um, open to be used for different things. 01:20:15,600 And then you would in the policy outline, what would is allowed in those spaces and create a application license that would go in tandem with that, assuming everybody fills out the license and require a license application meets the requirements, it could get approved either by the board or if you wanted to have it be approved by a department head or the town manager’s office, you could do that as well. It’s totally up to you. Sorry about that. 01:20:34,400 Um, with my hands, so much so at the time, it also wound up creating a little bit of a charge discussion about what group, what outside groups should have access to any of the town spaces. We had pointed out that we already made outside. We already made the patent homestead available to outside groups, as long as they paid the rental fee. 01:20:49,000 Uh, but we the board hadn’t really decided if they wanted to charge a rental fee. So, um, at that point. About that too, for. The at that point. At that point, yeah, at that point, the board just decided to table it and bring it back later. And then I think everybody remembers what happened. 01:21:02,400 Last year was a long year. There was a lot of special meetings, a lot of conversation, and nobody really came to us asking. I think we had at one point the, uh, the Democratic Committee, I think it has to use the Council on Aging for something. 01:21:14,630 We agreed to let them do it. Um, we would have done the same for the Republican committee. They asked, and and we have had a couple times a League of Women Voters asked because they have traditionally had access to town spaces to hold their candidate forum, things like that. 01:21:29,130 So those are that’s right. Now, the extent of the outside groups that you’ve allowed. Um, if you wanted to, you could draft the you could amend this policy and not making the Council on Aging, but you could say it’s a facility use policy. You could outline which facilities are governed by it. 01:21:42,670 So you could say the new meeting space at the town Hall Patent Homestead for as long as we own it. And if you wanted to include the CoA or not, that’s up to you. 01:22:01,330 And then, um, then say that the facility is available to be used by town boards and committees and, or just town boards and committees. Uh, I would think that if the town wanted to engage in some civic at the town Selectboard, wanted to allow for some civic engagement in town spaces, you could say that community based organizations like the community House or Boy Scouts or so, an organization that’s 01:22:22,500 in the community that has a, you know, a membership base from the community that is active in, uh, and kind of promoting the community and the wellness of the community. The community sense of spirit. You could designate those groups that have a, you know, an organization in the town as eligible to do that. Um. 01:22:40,130 I do think the. Facility policy and I agree that it should. Be we want to drafted that. What you you can easily take what we gave you as the gateway as the Council on Aging. Change some words. Use that as the basis of the template for it, and then fill in what you want on that. 01:22:54,570 New town hall is going to be a beautiful road. People don’t want to use it, so we probably should stay ahead of it and do it. Facility use policy so we don’t get into the discussion. Oh shit. What do you know? Right. 01:23:05,170 We we had talked a little bit about that in terms of thinking about security and so forth. And you know, another another reason why I now that we will have that beautiful space at the town hall, the the Koa was sort of a backup and, and I just I just worry if somebody I mean, it could 01:23:22,230 happen to anybody. But I worry if a group is in there and they’re drinking coffee and it gets spilled on that beautiful couch, you know, if we if we don’t need to, um, use the the Koa building, um, for, for things like that other than for, like, town boards, committees, I my opinion and 01:23:43,700 again, this is the whole board, but I would rather that that the town hall be. Used for this. If I could offer just real. Quick question. Right. Like I think that’s part of it too, is having a Koa have have some more. Uh. 01:24:02,100 Discretion about about what, what uses as well I would imagine. Right. That’s sort of like some guidelines that we set out for all like publicly owned facilities. They have some more, autonomy and discretion to decide, you know, which groups or uses align with their mission. 01:24:20,300 And then if there’s a need for them to, you know, if there’s an appeals process or escalation, maybe it’s something we handled through the facility use policy of, well, if this person’s petition and asked to use the space and they feel it’s mission aligned with the CEO, it can escalate. I don’t know where, but we can that out. 01:24:40,700 I think that the Koa used to have that building to themselves and, um, that’s not the case with the town’s, um, been a little aggressive. And that’s, you know, if anybody wants point fingers, you can point them at we’ve utilized other areas of the building that were being underutilized. The health department is largely upstairs now. 01:24:54,030 The building inspection services is in the back and the, uh, in the addition to the building. So they have a lot less space than they used to have. And I kind of agree with Selectboard Member Kennedy that at this point, they they’re kind of limited in what they have. So trying to help protect that space for them and for the seniors as much as possible. 01:25:09,570 But I think that Ben’s right to do that if we have the opportunity for the Koa board to say, hey, well, you know, it’s we’re not using on a Saturday and the Hamilton Wyndham Garden Club wants to do a plant sale. We could we could allow that. 01:25:27,170 But, um, yeah, it definitely would urge you to be a little bit more, uh, judicious about how you allow that, that space to be used going forward. Yeah. They don’t. And the Garden Club does it, as a rule. Use the inside. They just use the ground outside. So it’s just. Yeah. So you’re working. On you’re working on it. I think we should. Yeah. 01:25:48,500 See we’re going to still use policy. Yes. And do we need to then restructure the Koa policy to. refer to the fruit of the facilities policy? Yeah. And the facility policy because it’s going to cover multiple space and facilities. Right. You know, we have to figure out what that escalation kind of like pathways are, if there’s any. 01:26:10,400 Separate Koa and facility ones. I think. We. Should, in my opinion, that we should have a youth policy. That’s two different policies and two different places that do the same thing. 01:26:35,500 But if we’re saying that if we decide that the Koa should just open itself up to town warden committee meetings, um, and not to serve the general public, it might be reasonable to just consider doing, uh, as a. Separate would. Be the same. Thing as. You’re just troublesome. You. Wait, wait. Everybody’s gonna be brand new. Beautiful. I the kids will have bubble gum under the I. So if I could just an idea on the. 01:27:02,770 You could have a facility use policy that says that, uh, the policy governs these spaces. I mean, you know, list them out, and you could say that. And after you list the town hall meeting room, the second floor meeting room, and whatever other space we have, you could say, and the Council on Aging building, subject to 01:27:19,330 the further oversight of the Council on Aging board. Okay. For something like that, that would allow you to create a general umbrella for the council to be considered as long as the Council on Aging board also signed off on it. That makes sense. 01:27:33,270 I’m a big fan of you want to do something, you would have one placement for it. You got to go to two places. You. That makes sense. So have some sections based on each facility that’s going to be governed by the policy. Right. And you have to get that policy written because remember we’re having the art exhibition. Yeah. So. The art policy. That’s. 01:27:54,500 Subject until the until the. Yeah, until the policy is done, it’s up to select board. So yeah okay. Okay. All right. What was the other one that there were. Three are. The abatement okay. That’s yes. I have looked. At that. So on which one. The water. 01:28:13,770 You’d already updated it to leave most abatements uh, up to a certain threshold with the Department of Public Works director and that. So that had reduced the number of abatements that were coming to you. You have a recent big one that had to be considered for a number of different reasons. And you did um, I still think. That. Abatement policy. 01:28:31,330 Maybe I don’t know, did I provided you did I, you got I, I will let me look into, uh, what’s on the town website. Yeah. And for most of them to Tim or the. Right. Exactly. And they only come to us if there’s if. That person is. Yeah. Um. They want more money then. 01:28:50,530 Yeah. Yeah. Or they’re not happy with with his decision. That’s one of the problems with our old or our current website too. Is that it? It saves old pages. And so, you know, just following what I like you followed may have taken you the wrong thing. Yeah. Um, that’s why we’re trying to change. 01:29:06,600 Because I think, um, the policy that I looked at was 2008 or something. Yeah. So if it’s not the right one, that’s not the current one. But we have like a, a signage. I don’t know if you guys look, we have a science policy. We have the banners patent policy or the banners anywhere. 01:29:22,100 Like those are the kind of things that we yeah, we. have one. We have the we have. The great discussion about. Yes. Yeah. We’re not. Only the, the, uh, the, uh, the plots, one that we always have and it’s all we were always like growing, making exceptions because we always think it makes sense. 01:29:40,130 But it would be nice to just have the policy said, nope, it’s not a policy. Yeah. And every time we have a discussion, we make an exception. And I don’t like that. Yeah, because. That makes sense if they know somebody. But if we made a better policy with more black and white okay. 01:29:53,130 So. Well yeah, we’ll we’ll take a stab at that. Cemetery plots as well. Okay. So good. And I are going to be seeing a lot of each other for. The. Well if I can help out to I just. Yeah. 01:30:05,300 I wanted to kind of talk a little bit about process, especially where, you know, if we’re thinking about some more holistic changes because we’re kind of like going away. To people just like I’m also if, if, if there are policies that you’re passionate about and other people want to team up on them. 01:30:22,000 So that way we don’t have a daisy chain going of more than two people. That’s an option to, um, on. But let’s just use the the signage and banners one as an example. We had a really good discussion today, and I was thinking back to when we did the public comment policy last year. Correct. My memory. 01:30:42,900 It felt like we kind of had a couple of drafts going, maybe at one point. Is that the right. Of the sign is no. The the public comment. Oh yeah. Kind of like two versions going. Yes. 01:30:58,770 And then those were and the people who were authoring like a public comment policy kind of had two versions going, and one was maybe, um, a little more conservative, a little like risk averse and just sort of maybe higher barriers. Um, and then one was a little more. We had one written by our town council, one written by us. So. Okay, that’s what it was. 01:31:13,730 I was like, so while we were thinking about a similar maybe approach, one like where we kind of have like the risk averse one and then one that maybe more community engagement oriented, but we felt kind of like the underpinning both of these is sort of this third pillar that we’re after around kind of efficacy of the policy so that 01:31:32,830 we don’t have every last little thing coming before us. If it can be managed in a more efficient and clear. That’s a good point. So in that case, we we had town council write the policy before we wrote a policy. 01:31:50,600 I would say give us one, give us a template, represent all these towns, give us a template that you like to work. And then we took that and modified it. We could have them do that. So there’s two ways the town council can have to look at any policy. Right. Right. So either write the policy and get and then we spend the time. Right. 01:32:01,700 And then give it to them to look at the comment on or around. They give us their template up front. And then we take that and rework it. How are we gonna do it? We could do it either way. We can do both ways. 01:32:11,670 But that’s kind of what you’re talking about. Like how do we how do we get those two opinions? The more conservative legal? Yeah, conversion. The other ones, like. Hey. We’ve been we’ve. Been doing this for. Community oriented. So much if you want to. And I joke like, what do you. 01:32:29,500 Think that has basically been the board’s process through many iterations of boards since I’ve been here. So, um, the, the human rights, the human rights policy, the flag policy and the public comment policy, uh, the appointment to fill a vacancy on the Board of Committees policy. 01:32:47,730 All were all began life as a template by the by town council that the board then took and made amendments and adjustments to. So that’s. That’s kind of. Yeah. But I the one I drafted. The. What so what. So if I could add so if I can ask you have the what was what began life as the Council on Aging use policy. 01:33:04,700 And we can easily just take that template and modify it to be a silly use policy and that we don’t need to go back to town council. That what new what policies do you want me to have? The town council template for you so that. You can. Banner signs and banners? Uh. What. Koa. 01:33:23,330 Signs and banners on public property. Whether it’s temporary signage and banners, um. On town. On property owned property. Right. That’s the policy. Or public right of way. I think that concludes that as well. So yeah. Okay. Um. Yeah, we had quite a discussion about signs. It was really, really interesting. 01:33:45,730 I don’t like we talked about it like we don’t, I don’t understand like, okay, who owns the corner? You know, who owns the corner of these intersections where the signs up. Is that owned. By. 01:33:57,530 The town? Right away? The town has the right of way, has a right of way up to the property line. Um, because you have the need to maintain that area. So we. Control all the time. So that’s a great policy, right. Because I would like to first understand the legal boundaries of it. And then we can figure out the policy, you know, where we’re. actually policy. 01:34:14,230 Based on. There’s a I think the DPW told me there’s maybe a ten foot. Yeah, right of. Way, ten foot right away everywhere. Yeah. So every. Off of every street. Yeah. 01:34:30,400 Well also under like kind of like the banners and signage one, you know, like like again, we’re just kind of like drafting out some initial thoughts and ideas. Right. Some of the stuff we like being like, we like people to come in and say, hey, I would like to have a sign for this thing that’s coming up. And it reminds us as well of like, oh yeah, this thing’s going on in our community. 01:34:45,170 This is such a great event. And it also kind of just helps that connective tissue. Right. Um, so there is a benefit to that. However, sometimes it’s sort of like from an efficacy standpoint, if we’ve got a lot on and maybe it’s the, the senior, um, photographs and names and then they kind of like put them all 01:35:02,200 that feels like the kind of thing because it’s annual, it’s every year all we really need the policy maybe is that Eric or the school superintendent sends a letter to the town manager and to the DPW. 01:35:20,200 Hey, from this date to this date, we’re going to have the the seniors and they’re going to follow the CBA bylaw or the zoning bylaws about science, uh, sizes and all that stuff like those types of things could just be by rote, and they don’t have to come before us for approval. They just have to notify us, and they have them follow the time and use. I agree. 01:35:38,930 So many different things from those. So the fence, whether you’re on the. Ones on the fence, have really died off. We haven’t had a lot of those last couple of years, which is great. 01:35:53,900 So from a process standpoint then I think the way that we work at is to reiterate it would be the town council give us, like the conservative, risk averse version of this is what all the other town’s doing. Rosie and I take what we have and and amend that. And then we have we have two that we can bring back to the board to then deliberate. 01:36:12,830 And probably by then though, like just the way that the public comment, one, when it takes a couple of months to get it to a place where. 2 or 3 meetings. Yeah. Yeah, we feel like, okay, this is like been battle tested and people have been able to provide input and get as much alignment as we can. Before to vote. 01:36:29,670 And circulate it. Amongst emails, we can comment on a one on one. We don’t have to. We don’t. We don’t have to wait to a meeting to send it out. You can send it to me. I can come out and send it back. Right? I don’t. 01:36:39,300 Yeah, you can only send your comments to the chair or to me. You can’t. So like we’ll work with Joe on that last little piece about how comments get collected and brought back for deliberation. Yeah. And then you’ll have to you have two public readings on it. 01:36:54,700 So I’d suggest that you’d have first, public reading, have a lot of discussion to after that. Yeah. Um, and then, you know, people could send in their comments after that first reading. And then on the second reading, their intent is to read it a second time, as maybe had been amended, and then vote on. It. Oh. Um, I’m sorry. No. So we got cemetery plots. 01:37:11,830 We got facilities, we got signage. So the facilities you already have a template. Do you want to just go from there rather than. Yeah, yeah, we already have that one from from. Last year passed around. Yeah. Last year. Right. Wasn’t that. It was just nice. 01:37:29,500 I may just have town council take a quick peek to make sure there hasn’t been some. New case. Time is money. The the the what you have is what they drafted. You have so. All right. Yeah, yeah. You was the legal precedent here. Now. Yeah. Yeah. Facility use. So yeah. So I definitely agree with this plots. We should put a concerted effort into that. 01:37:47,930 And I’m very interested to see what town council would think about that. That gives us. Three four, three. We’re not doing if. We’re. Not going to sign anything. And I think we should before we go, we should identify the subcategories of the signage. It’s Patent Park, it’s it’s it’s the rec. 01:38:09,570 It’s the the public safety building. It’s the frame on the school property. We don’t control that or. Not the one on the school property. But there was a frame in front of the Council on Aging. We that’s not there anymore. Okay. Well, one, right before you get to Winthrop, we don’t control. The schools. 01:38:25,530 Okay. So we have Peyton. We have we have a public. Electric sign in front of the. Public works. We have and we have right of way. Yeah. Is there anything else I’m missing? No, but that’s another. Thing about. Subcategories of signage. Yeah. Oh, like where the signs. Yeah. We get. We get where we’re talking. 01:38:43,670 Boards, like in town hall. Like, is that like, like I presume they’ll be. Like that. Those are generally for for operation stuff. We don’t I mean, there’s, there might be one open to the public in town hall and town hall reopens. The people could come in and, you know, pin something up to. 01:39:00,830 But everything else is connected to town. Clerk. The town clerk manages the other one. I’m not. You got. You can put up an eight and a half by 11 thing. If you want to put up a notice, but. We don’t want to that at our policy. No. Okay. We want to encourage it. 01:39:15,200 Why not? That’s what I mean. I’d like that’s where it’s like this is where the debate happens. I think we should bring these back because I’m kind of like, well, what’s the harm? But I get it right. 01:39:29,100 It’s like, well, the draft I had was that like once a month somebody just goes in like kind of cleans that whole noticeboard off. And so regardless of whether it was up there for three days or 14 days, like it just gets put in there cycle and then once a month, like I’m, I don’t know what kind of signs people have put up in the past. But we have one on the plan. 01:39:44,670 No, nobody’s ever asked to put up any signs up there. So there’s no current plan to have one. Can’t get a corkboard. I know. I it’s a bulletin board. There’s a bulletin board that the town clerk manages to post meetings. There’s a there’s a bulletin board to post meetings. 01:40:00,700 And then there’s another bulletin board that has information related. To the treasurer and collectors. And voting. But I think it’s better. To have. It’s better to have a policy and manage policy. Than that. And just go to talk about it. Just just. Come back. We can have these deliberations before we exclude anything from. The policy. Yes. Yes. 01:40:18,900 Just to make sure we not leave anything out.. I mean. Like that’s where it’s like temporary banners, like if people are like, if, you know, I don’t. Know. Enough, there’s there’s another thing, there’s. You’re not gonna you’re not gonna be able to do anything on private property. It’s only on. Property I’ve had. 01:40:33,900 Like, I mean, like public like banners, like if it’s like on a public. Right. Like on the tennis courts. Yeah. But like, for instance, um, community House has the fence there, and they’ve been hanging banners on the fence. Yeah. Our town should allow that to happen, but they do it. 01:40:50,430 We can’t really. That’s not a town that’s not. A correct. It’s not a sidewalk thing. That’s really more of a the inspector thing. Yeah, it would be. It’s tied to, I think the zoning bylaws. For signage. signed by. The. signed by law. But that’s under the, that’s under the. 01:41:06,770 Yeah, the zoning bylaw, not under the, not under the general bylaws. But there. Are. So another thing that we had a ruckus about last year were like political signs, you know, people are running for something. On the right of ways. Yeah. That’s what I’m. Talking about. Right. 01:41:25,070 And and my feeling about that is that, you know, it’s chaos for three weeks. But I don’t. Have I just yeah, democracy is messy. I just say that what’s what is the way political discourse has evolved in the last few years? Um, you might be really surprised at what winds up popping up in some of those sites if you just allow it to become. A free. 01:41:47,000 Will not be allowed. You can’t choose no. Once you say that you can allow political speech, you have to keep it open. So the minute you go down that road, you open it up. You cannot govern the content of the speech. You cannot cover the content, govern the content of the speech. Right, right. 01:42:00,900 But time enter in place. You can’t say the only people who are registered to run for office and presides, um. I know told us, no, you can’t do that. That was that was a big part of the discussion.. After election, you have to register the election. 01:42:14,570 You have to be on election day. So it’s a very clear, concise. List of people. That are politicking. Because. people wouldn’t. Be here for local elections. People would. Be putting signs that are distasteful out. Running can’t cover it. I mean, that’s what I’m saying. You can’t govern that. 01:42:31,900 It’s if it’s public property, if it’s in the right way or it’s a town owned land, you shouldn’t be allowing political signs out at all. Period. Oh my God, that’s like the end of an era for 250 years. Most political signs go in people’s front lawns. That’s where they belong. Or on their cars. Not necessarily. If you. Drive around, but then that. 01:42:48,730 But that was my question. I know. I didn’t know that was called right away. I thought those were owned by the gas station, owned by Peabody. Didn’t realize that a public right. That’s why I don’t really clarify. Like what is public right of way at those intersections. I mean, if it’s if. 01:43:01,070 It has a gas station, they can. Hear anybody. They’re like, yeah, we don’t care. Yeah, that’s fine. Is their property. They don’t care. Put it there. But if it’s a public. But like the islands, you know, the, the, the, you know the little islands that people some people plant some stuff in it. Those are not.. 01:43:17,070 Thank you very much. Yes, yes. Sometimes they don’t do all of them. But yes, some of them, some of them are done by other, other businesses in town. I’ve taken over. Some of them, but the Garden. club doesn’t. Have to. Let them go. No, it’s awesome flowers. So I. Just. 01:43:32,000 You can’t you can’t govern free speech. So if you’re going to open it up to a political science, you have to allow all political signs. Well. And the the nature of political discourse these last few years in particular, I think you will be surprised to see what winds up in those spaces if you. Open it up. 01:43:48,430 I never seen anything like that. Even at the height of the discord. They never. Well, I mean, I think, I don’t know, I think that you can you can, uh, manage the context. To you can’t manage the content if you can’t. I’m real. Town council has said explicitly. 01:44:12,030 And this is how how the city of Boston got in trouble with their flag policy. You cannot manage the content. We’re not we’re not to be involved in the next step. So next steps is write the policy. Policy right now. But that’s okay. That’s I. 01:44:26,470 Just I think we have a good process. So that way we have we have one from the town council. The first one we have. All right. Our current policy would like kind of amendments maybe moving in that direction. 01:44:40,070 And then we have that like calculated risk of like well what do we think is best for community engagement. And then sort of like this underpinning, uh, third pillar that we’re looking for of like efficacy. Right. Like kind of like smoothing out the bumps. So we’re talking about like the things that. I don’t want to do exceptions all the time. Right. 01:44:54,870 We want efficacy because we don’t want to have to have like, oh, we have another exception. Right. That was that was one of the things I was going to mention. But I’m glad you did. Okay. So that’s a good. Good process. We’re good. Yeah. And you got the list. I get the list. I’ve got. The list. 01:45:11,800 Of of Barnabas Cemetery, temporary signs and banners and cemetery plots. I have to get them to send us a new risk averse policy. And you’ve. Got a facility. You’ve got the facility you wanted to start with. We hit the ground running. All right? Yeah. Love it. Yeah. Review and approve. Selectboard meeting calendar through December 31st, 2026. 01:45:31,000 So from the calendar up there. Um. The big differences are Tuesday, September 8th because of Labor Day and Tuesday, September 22nd because of Yom Kippur. All the rest of those dates are Mondays through the end of the calendar year, and we’ve kept to the first and third Mondays, as is in your bylaws. 01:45:52,870 I guess the only thing I would ask is an opinion is that for September, if we did the 14th and the 28th, we could go back to Monday and it wouldn’t be close. So close to holidays because there’s five, there’s um. That might be a good idea because people. Are still away. 01:46:20,130 Yeah, I’m. I would love to not have a, um, you know, corporate that week. Anyway. So 14th and 24th, is that. is that mean? Sorry, 14th and 20. 01:46:38,500 Are you going to end up having almost a month between the meeting of August 17th and then, um, then then Monday the 14th and then and then and then on the 28th, you’re going to have two weeks in a row. You can have the meeting on the 28th. And then. We get we get a lot of people not around the last couple. Of days. I’m just pointing it out. I’m not telling you right or wrong. I’m just.. Yeah. 01:46:54,000 I’m I’m with Bill on this and. Um. Let’s see the hard to follow and take a little time off because I think it’s, I think the gym went in for Tuesday after Labor Day is not right. Exactly. And then you’ll do like step back to back with that. And all day. 01:47:08,200 Yeah. You want to change those to Monday September 14th and Monday, September 28th. Yeah I’m for that. I don’t know, we might have to look at those two days before, but I don’t have any on my count. Specifically, the 14th of the. I don’t. Have anything. Remind me, Joe, um, what did we decide about the. 01:47:35,030 Town meeting? Special town meeting, date. You already voted that if there’s going to be one, that’s going to be October 3rd, and we’ll need to know by August well, in advance of August 17th, in order to be able to open a open a warrant, have a period of time, close the warrant and then get everything else nighttime. 01:47:53,570 So everything currently there is nothing. Knock on wood. I get nervous every time we say right now there’s nothing. I saw. Something and I was I told, I told my department heads don’t say the words. Special time meeting until after September when we can’t have one this year. 01:48:16,000 Don’t you always have a special town meeting? You can always have a special time meeting. If it’s if it if it became a critical use, you can call one. Um pretty quickly, but it would wind up being a, you know, a one issue. Yeah. And why why waste the money if it’s, you know, for the town and it’s. 01:48:30,170 Just I think we spent enough money on special town meetings. Last year. And I think the residents would be really happy to perhaps not have one if we didn’t need to. So the only other thing we could do is don’t cause those a little bit. Right. So this is the seven feet right. 01:48:46,130 And then you’ve got the 24 to 30 fourth, the seventh and the 14th. So the only way to do two is because it’s also summer. We could make that one. And 24 instead of the 17. I’m not gonna make that much of a difference. But somebody said I’d rather make that the. 01:49:00,870 Amount on the 24 out on the third, but. Oh my god, on the 24th. I will likely be gone on the 24th. So keep it on 70. Okay. Well. I like the way you’re always thinking. I mean, that that would make sense. Five Mondays in August with five Mondays of November. Yeah, yeah. 01:49:16,330 Okay. All right. So do I have a motion to approve the calendar change to. September. And 24th, 2828. So moved. Second. Second. All in favor, say aye. Aye aye. Oh, who was the second? I’m sorry. I’m trying to write this, Ben. Oh, you got it now right before me. They’ve got a fight over that. 01:49:39,270 Um. All right. On June 29th, I’m coming up quick. Two weeks from today. I apologize. We’ve been successful by having that meeting at the Koa because it’s a more intimate gathering. And nobody will spill coffee. And we’ll get Joe, get some some, uh, Caesar salads. That’s right. Chicken Caesar. Caesar salads and other things. 01:50:04,300 And it won’t just be chicken Caesar. Is my request every year. Okay? And, um, and we do topics and format, so. So do you want to send out, um, where you’re at with your ladies and Grace. 01:50:23,330 Uh, I include one in the packet, but it came in kind of weird, so I’ll send it to you to everybody tomorrow as a spreadsheet so you can see it. Um, if you have ideas, uh, that you want to try and repopulate, send them along to the table and we’ll have them ready. Um, unless is unless there’s a clamor to change the format. 01:50:38,530 This the spreadsheet that you used to set goals last year would try to take that, amend it, take out the things that have been accomplished or are about to be accomplished, and add in new things. 01:50:56,330 I would like to see the board include, um, a new goal relative to um, the master plan and kind of initiating some kind of process. I don’t know if it’s a a regular meeting for a chairs of existing board of committees, or if it’s a new committee or if it’s just a, checklist of things that you want to see the department heads do during the budget process to ensure that the 01:51:11,530 master plan is being considered as we move forward. I’m open to any or all suggestions to the board wants to assign us, but, uh, some some. 01:51:26,570 You have the request from the planning board to look at how we’re going to adopt and implement the master plan. So if you guys can make that a goal of ours, then that makes it more imperative for us to accomplish. It. Okay. Um. I do like you want us to send you ideas about stuff. Yeah. We don’t have to go through them now. Is that the. 01:51:48,900 I mean, we have one that we did. And so, Joe, you said that we can’t do it, but. Yeah. But if we have anything in advance. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Okay. Anything else? I’ll check in. Nobody’s here for that. I think everybody that’s in two weeks, that’s Monday the 29th. 01:52:05,570 Do you want us to. Is that a yes? On staying at the Council on Aging. I’ll bring I’ll bring the owl. And that way there can still be tapes. I really like that. 01:52:22,030 Oh, I think it, it’s it, I mean I when I was unable to be here, I just thought it really brought the whole meeting. And I’m sure that people would I felt really part of it. And I’m sure that anybody who decides to watch it would feel the same way. So thank you. Joe. Um, so second, just like the website, it’s getting updated on there. The website’s getting updated. 01:52:42,900 Did we? We should be launching it live and think the first week of October, but we’ve seen a first look at it. Now they’re going to start populating our pages into the design that we approved. Um, so it’s it’s moving on. 01:53:00,070 A committee of about seven staff members, including some of the department heads and some, uh, administrative type positions who are actually using it and updating it every day. So, um, getting their input on, on ease of use and functionality and how it looks so. Is there a document archive going to be available on that website. 01:53:20,970 To a degree? Um, it’s, uh, archiving, you know, documents is going to be a part of a separate project, the laser project. The digitization only use of laser fiche is happening kind of in tandem, but separately in the the clerk is, uh, town clerk. Karen Carl has taken the lead on that project for us. 01:53:38,570 Um, but, um, you know, part of the this function of our current website is that it saves all the pages that get created. So even though you have a bit of banner use policy and then it gets updated, both are still there. 01:53:54,430 And depending on how you navigate to the site, you might wind up finding the wrong one. So we don’t want it to. We don’t want it to archive everything. Sometimes it brings up the old stuff like. Yeah, well and sometimes you want the old stuff, but you want it not. You want it, you want it. 01:54:12,570 To know that when you go look for the, um, the, uh, policy for it, the right one thing you don’t get the two 2008 version correct? Yep. Hmm. Correct. Yeah. 01:54:29,530 I think that process, like in terms of like having a staff, like doing a lot of that, like debugging as well, before the old one gets decommissioned and the new one goes live. And just like just hammering on it and finding bugs and submitting those to the vendor for fixes like crucial step.. And these are not just your goals or select board goals. Their select board goals and goals that you that then that very much become my goals. Based on how we. This is our goals. You know. 01:54:55,000 What I’d like to do this year, Joe? Maybe Helen going yeah. Yeah. Anything else? Uh, under any other business? I don’t know if we wanted to talk about. 29,029. Okay. New business. Um, we’ll go around as wanted before I forget one of those a few things. 01:55:19,400 So, Joe, um, a couple things I’d like to do in the next, you know, months. Not necessarily weeks or months is, um, get get, uh, invited. Affordable housing trust. Maybe you can come here and tell us, like, give us updates on. We’ve got three projects in town right now. Right. We’ve got we’ve got the one in Asbury. 01:55:34,300 We’ve got the we’ve got the one at the cell phone tower, and then we got the one at Gordon Conwell. Like, maybe three. So we invite the developers or they get an update on those projects. Okay, back down. 01:55:47,800 And I haven’t seen an update in a while. Yeah. So I’d like to invite them to come and give us an update. Sounds good. Uh, number two is that we have two dead end street three approved. Dennis. Just kind of with Sharon and Goodhue. 01:56:00,700 I’m just not happy with either one of those current conditions right now. And maybe we can make money in the budget, but if we can figure out how to make those more. attractive more. That’s right. That’s exactly. Yeah. 01:56:13,600 I think the Sharon Red one is going to get fixed when we start to go to the sidewalk, because that sidewalk will go across there, and that’s going to require a little bit of design work because as, as Tim explains it, now, what you have, what the side of the road there is, what what they refer to as drainage. 01:56:29,870 But once we create a curb there along that spot that used to be the the second interest of Sharon Road country drainage won’t won’t be able to happen. So we’ll need to create a way to get the water underneath the roadway over to the other side of the road, away from the sidewalk and the Sharon Street neighborhood. So, um, there’s going to be some work that needs to be done there, and that’ll be that’ll be part. 01:56:42,900 Of it. Be done. So which initiated the one that’s bearing Highlands three one? Uh, that’s still on our list. I don’t know, we can we can have Tim give you an update. As. To whether. That’s a Hamilton thing. Uh, we’ve we’ve applied several times to get some grant money to help us with that. 01:56:59,870 It’s part of our, um, Complete Streets project, but it hasn’t risen up. Um, as a priority for the state yet. It’s just not enough. It’s perception. That, yeah, somebody mentioned to, like, there’s a lot of accidents at intersections. It’s frightening. It’s frightening because they they can’t come up so fast along Highland Ave and. And there’s. 01:57:21,670 A except Bill. Bill never does. Yeah I’m up there but I don’t go that fast. Yeah. Um, yeah. No, I’ve seen you don’t drive fast. I’ll support you if you had something else. You want to for new business. I just wanted to circle back on, um, flag raising for the. Oh, yes. 01:57:40,870 The block party? Yes. Do you want to just make a time? We’ll figure out the details later. Do you want to do, like, early in the morning or not? Right before the event? We could do it. That’s fine. Yeah. I mean I, I don’t, I don’t anticipate much of a brouhaha about it. Um, um, just raise the flags. 01:57:59,100 Okay. What do you want to say? Give it time. Ten. Good. 10:00. I won’t be. Here 10 a.m. on Saturday. I’ll let the police know. They’ll sign an officer to help get the flag. What’s how many? How many flags are on there right now? Right now you have on that. On on Friday. 01:58:16,970 On Saturday, you’ll have the new Bennington flag. Um, the Juneteenth flag is going up on Friday morning, so that’ll fly below the new the Bennington flag. And then did you leave? You left the flag. Is the 7657. Yeah. There’ll be two flags. Yeah. 76. And then. The Juneteenth flag. That’s it. Yeah, yeah. 01:58:42,400 You you previously had voted in the past. You had always voted that one Juneteenth flag flies. The pride flag comes down on that day in the Juneteenth light. Goes up. Right? Right. 01:58:54,030 So you don’t want you didn’t want to have, like, it looked like a ship’s mast where there’s, like, banners coming all the way down the flagpole. So, you know, on on Friday with the flag that’s up there, you’ll add the Juneteenth flag, and on Saturday morning you’ll go up and you’ll take down the the current old US flag and replace it with the flag above. Above the the Juneteenth flag. So we’re taking down the American flag. 01:59:12,730 Yes, yes. And find. A new. The new. Big government approved. It’s a previously approved U.S. flag. Yeah. It’s a nice flag. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And we have enough. They came in. They were ordered. I haven’t seen it yet. So you told me that yesterday too. I’m starting to get nervous. 01:59:29,830 I I’ll do 10 a.m. flag raising and we’re. You still gonna do a little reading as well. Or. Um. We’re is going to read for us. I could do. That. I read well, remember last year I had to read. This. Ginormous 300 page? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Okay. Okay. That’s that’s fine. I’ll. We’ll figure out something. Okay. Um. 01:59:58,600 Yeah. So just to follow along, uh, to to to backtrack regarding the intersection of Goodhue and Highland. Yeah. I just wanted to compliment the DPW because that that is, uh, there’s still some vehicles that go down there. I mean, there was a school bus turning on Thailand from Goodhue, and I just saw. 02:00:21,570 That didn’t make a lot of sense because that’s a bit I mean, they should just go right down while. They just go straight. 02:00:37,030 I don’t know, because because when there’s like a huge school bus, a person who wants to turn in me onto Goodhue, I couldn’t make the turn. So I don’t know, it was just sort of spur of the moment. But there were some there’s been some significant, um, divots on either side of the asphalt. Um, that looked like a small child could get lost in. But the DPW did fill those two holes. 02:01:00,570 But I’m wondering when we talk about doing some, um, revisions of the setup. I mean, I think that’s a really tight corner and maybe no school buses or big trucks should go down there. Uh, when when they have a really good line of sight. Just continuing down while I think it’s kind of a safety hazard. 02:01:23,500 Yeah. So I have to look at both and make the recommendation to you because I think that the it’s a t it’ll be a T, we’re going to be some swing Goodhue around to t into Highland just the way Walden Field already does. 02:01:41,230 But I do feel like because of the houses and what’s up at the intersection of Walden Field, I feel like that’s almost a little tighter. So we have to one. Yeah. All we do have have a tractor trailer and make that turn. Do you think that’s like the same or. Well, I mean, this is a big school bus and it. Will open field to Highland Street. Yeah. 02:01:57,830 It was a better intersection but still not great. Still, neither. Coming up, there’s still little dips. And do those narrow in the Highlands. But it’s better okay. It’s better than making that impossible turn at the end of good here. And there was an email. 02:02:15,300 I don’t know if you talked about the meeting I missed, but there’s an email regarding Miles, River road. Mr. Rubin, I responded to him today so that Miles River Road and Bridge Street from Miles River all the way up to Bay road is all set to begin work in the next 2 or 3 weeks. We’ve already signed the contract. The RFP has already been. That’s all going to get done. Um. 02:02:31,270 So he was very happy to hear from you. I hope he I don’t think I don’t, I don’t I responded to him this afternoon, um, I don’t know if he’s responded to my response, but, um, yeah, we’re you know, we’ve got that. 02:02:48,370 We’ve got the plans to do sidewalks to finish the sidewalk loop along Highland Street. We have a plan to do sidewalk from the new affordable housing development along Asbury, straight down to Highland Street, again, connecting neighborhoods that were disconnected to the existing network of sidewalks. And then just. A question about that. 02:03:08,670 Is the developer going to be contributing to that side? That was part of the agreement? Yeah, yeah. Is that a lot of move. Specifically the developer on directly on the, um, the other project that attend the habitat for humanity project didn’t contribute to that, but they’ll benefit from having it there. So. Right. Yeah. So okay. Okay. That’s nice. Harbor lights did agree to contribute to. 02:03:30,000 Because it was going to be like $1 million. Is that correct? I don’t know what it’s going to be, but I know Tim’s got numbers and he’s got a plan for it. Okay, great. But there was there was an agreement from that from Harbor Light to contribute to that. And then where’s it going to go? Just it’ll. 02:03:48,130 It’ll go as far as the intersection of Asbury and Highland, which then has a sidewalk that goes along Lower Asbury in towards Center Town Center. So that should connect it to that. Yeah, Yeah. Okay, great. Actually, we’ll put it down to the school one day. All. Won’t. Get all the way up. 02:04:04,200 The long way. Good luck with that. You can barely get two vehicles and a bicycle down that road. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Thank you. Anything else for new business? Any else? I know I don’t have anything. You brought up the rumor, so I was going to. 02:04:21,200 I was going to mention that. That I responded to his email already. So. So.. The motion to adjourn. In a second. I’ll second.
